Olympian Kequyen Lam Cross Country Skiing New York City, N J Metro Area

In the summer of 2018 Portuguese Olympic Cross Country Skier Kequyen Lam paid a visit to the metro New York, New Jersey area. During his stay LifeLong Olympic produced a series of skiing videos that are a first of their kind. No Olympic nor FIS skier has ever been filmed roller skiing in the local NYC area. When Life Long Olympic approached Kequyen with this project he quickly realized how important it was. A video sample of how the best in the world roller ski local roads will excite and inspire young people wanting to follow in the footsteps of roller skiers world wide here in the NYC area.

This video demonstrates how a world class skier practices skiing the same as all World Cup and Olympic skiers do, on wheels right here in our back yard. Their seasons are filled with as much as 70% roller skiing. Featured in this video are roads in Englewood, NJ, The Palisades Park and Route 218 at the base of Storm King Mountain. Kequyen also skied in Central Park, so make sure not to miss that video.  Folks, skiing is skiing. Roller skiing is a sensational physical literacy to learn. LifeLong and Olympic.
